The Green Club: Building a Cleaner and More Creative Yamoransa

The Duala Foundation has started a new club in Yamoransa called The Green Club. Our goal is to make Yamoransa the cleanest town in Ghana while helping people learn new and useful skills.

Through The Green Club, we will teach arts and crafts such as basketry, leatherwork, and batik fabric-making. These activities will help community members, especially young people, develop their talents and create products they can sell for extra income.

We also plan to organize clean-up exercises to keep our town clean and healthy for everyone. Beyond that, the Green Club will be introduced in schools, where students will learn to care for the environment and practice sustainable habits.

Another exciting part of our plan is to set up gardens in schools and communities. These gardens will teach young people horticulture, how to grow plants, flowers, and food crops.

At The Duala Foundation, we believe that small actions can create big change. The Green Club is our way of helping Yamoransa grow cleaner, greener, and more creative for all.
